Reading the tea leaves, you just don’t get the sense teams are going to be throwing around a lot of money in free agency in 2013.
The economy isn’t great, a lot of teams are struggling at the gate and the cap didn’t go up much.
There might be a big money signing here and there, but most teams are likely going to be looking for bargains.
So don’t expect a lot of teams to go on spending sprees this year.
