This time of year, you often see players take to social media and suggest free agents their team should sign.
Sometimes they even take to recruiting those players on social media.
While they are just trying to help, and there is no malicious intent, they need to be careful doing this.
Because if you suggest your team go out and sign a player at a certain position, one of your teammates, who you played with the previous year, could be out of a job, if the new player is added.
Now, of course, teams are going to sign new players in the off-season, so there is going to be turnover, but if a teammate suggests signing player(s) at a certain position, that could be viewed as an insult to the current teammates at that position.
So players need to be careful with this stuff, and perhaps leave these decisions to the GM.
