Tampa – When it comes to his 0-3 Jets, Aaron Glenn is trying to maintain an uber-positive attitude.
“Well, you just said we’re 0-3, We’re 0-3. How many more games do we have left? [14], that speaks for itself,” Glenn said after the Jets’ loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday. “We have a lot of games to go play, and you can build on this, you can build on this.”
And Glenn refused to focus on the negatives about this team, like he feels some do outside of 1 Jets Drive.
“The one thing I don’t do, which I understand that New York media tries to do is [focus on] the negative parts of it, but I’m not going to be that way,” Glenn said. “I’m going to let you guys deal with that. We’re going to let you guys deal with that.”
While of course the media can be negative at times, some would argue that, at times, with a struggling team, it’s warranted.
“We’re going to look at the things that we did well and we’re going to continue to push forward because we’re going to improve, and we’re going to make sure that we get over that hump – I do know that,” Glenn said.
To get over the hump, it might not just be about positivity and hard work, but line-up changes.
Because with some players, positive reinforcement might not be enough to get them over the hump.
