Question for the senior Jets official, who told the New York Post, “We have no choice. We have to ride this thing out with Geno (Smith).”
If that is the case, why are the Jets paying Michael Vick $4 million in guaranteed money this year? That is a lot more money than Smith is making. Smith is earning $633,164 this season.
That seems like a lot of money for a backup who gives you “no choice” but to stay with the starter.
