New York Post reporter Bart Hubbuch, who is very close with the Revis’ camp, responded to the Bob Glauber report that Revis has been offered a long-term deal for $12 million per. Here is what Hubbuch tweeted –
“The Jets could say those extra six years are worth $1 billion and it wouldn’t matter, because they’re not guaranteed. Revis knows this . . . here’s what makes the Jets’ leaked plan with Revis so phony: Years on NFL contracts aren’t guaranteed  . . . Darrelle Revis is scoffing at a report that the Jets’ plan is to add six years to his deal and allegedly make it worth $100 million . . . pretty slick move by the Jets, who seem to figure their fans won’t know any better.”
