This was probably a must-win year for Rex Ryan with a new GM.
The new GM, John Idzik, has him starting five rookies, and four of them aren’t ready to start.
Idzik seems to be looking to the future.
And Ryan seems to be concerned about the present.
This is the inherent problem you encounter when a GM comes in, and is forced to keep the old coach.
They have two different agendas.
