Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press just tweeted, “New Lions CB (Josh) Thomas said he wasn’t coached at all by Jets staff.”

This is surprising.

This is the NFL.

You need to be coaching up every player on your roster, regardless of them starting or backing up. You never know when you might need them.

The Jets’ brass needs to get to the bottom on this.
