Ryan on Aaitui – “This is a good football player.” Dan Leberfeld

Rex Ryan was high on DE Isaako Auitui on Monday.

“(Aaitui is) more of a big-body type, where I think he’s 320-some pounds, where Marcus (Dixon) is like 280, 285,” Ryan said on Monday. “So maybe body-type wise. This is a good football player, you guys will see. I’m sure when you talk to the people down at Miami they can tell you the same thing.”

I never had a chance to see him, or ask anybody in Miami. According to Brian Costello, Aaitui was cut today.
