With eighth sacks of QB E.J. Manuel, the Jets registered the most sacks they’ve had in a game since they sacked Phil Simms eight times at home against the Giants (12/18/88).
S Antonio Allen, LB Demario Davis, LB David Harris, S Dawan Landry, LB Calvin Pace, DT Sheldon Richardson and DE Muhammad Wilkerson all registered sacks against Buffalo. For Allen and Davis, these were the first sacks of their career, while Richardson’s sack was the first solo sack of his career. This season, nine different Jets players have accounted for the team’s 12 sacks.
