Jets Place QB Mark Sanchez on
Injured Reserve with Designation to Return
September 14, 2013 – The New York Jets have placed QB Mark Sanchez on injured reserve with the designation to return. Sanchez will be eligible to return to practice after six weeks and will be eligible to return to the active roster after eight weeks.
Sanchez (QB/6-2/225/Southern California/Mission Viejo, CA) in his fifth season with the team, completed 28-of-42 passes (66.7%) for 366 yards, two touchdown and two interceptions for a 90.0 passer rating during the preseason.
