Mark Sanchez is going to miss Jerricho Cotchery, who was released today.
“It wasn’t a surprise, I talked to J-Co earlier this week,” Sanchez said. “I’m a little disappointed he’s gone now. We will move on, and wish him the very best. He’s the ultimate teammate and ultimate competitor.”
With Cotchery gone, Sanchez expects Dustin Keller to get the ball more.
“I think Dustin Keller is going to have an even bigger role, and it’s my job to get better no matter who is out there this year,” Sanchez said.
Sanchez tried to convince Cotchery to stay.
“I was hoping I could change his mind,” Sanchez said.
