Whenever Santonio Holmes is forced to address the media, it’s a tension convention.
He exudes pure hate for the reporters asking the questions throughout each of these sessions.
I’m not complaining, just telling you what is going on.
So when he was forced to hold a press conference on Wednesday, and was deceptive about his foot condition, this should not come as a surprise.
The man has an utter disdain for the press.
He even snapped at reporter who has only been on the beat a couple of weeks, and he has no history with.
I don’t know if I’ve ever covered a Jets player who hates the media this much in all my years covering the team.
And that is his right.
It’s a free country.
I just wish there was a way to grant him his wish, and shut down his dealings with the press once and for all, and just let him play football.
But the NFL won’t allow that.
