Perhaps Rex Ryan will finally pull the plug on the Antonio Allen cornerback experiment. He hinted at that today.
It’s time to let Allen stay at safety.
But one thing I don’t get – Why isn’t Rex playing Phillip Adams?
I’m no putting Adams in Canton, but he’s a better CORNERBACK than Allen.
So after weeks of Allen struggling at cornerback, Rex started “AA” in Kansas City, and Adams couldn’t on the field.
What did Adams do?
Did he tick off a coach?
Adams showed a lot of ability on that pick in San Diego. I know it was just one play, but it was a heck of play. Not every corner could make that play. The guy clearly has some talent.
To me it was crazy to play a safety out of position over a true corner like Adams.
That made little sense.
