New England Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered a high ankle sprain two weeks ago in the AFC Championship Game against Baltimore.
It’s amazing he was able to play in the Super Bowl. This is usually a 6-8 injury.
“I was fine, my ankle was fine,” Gronkowski said after the Super Bowl. “I was 100 percent out there. I did everything they asked me to do.”
He wasn’t anywhere near 100 percent, and quite frankly, it’s amazing how much he was able to do.
The Gronkowski injury had a huge impact on the Super Bowl.
If he was 100 percent, the outcome might have been different.
