Talent is great, but it’s not everything . . .

There is no doubt the Jets have a talented roster, thanks to some recent drafts, trading for a future Hall-of-Fame QB, and some prominent free-agent additions this year.

Now is the hard part, bringing it all together, and creating a strong culture.

As one long-time NFL executive once put it: “Championships aren’t won on talent. Championships are won on talent working together.”

As Aaron Rodger said during the season after the leak to the media that Zach Wilson didn’t want to play anymore:

“It’s about culture. Culture can win championships, chemistry wins championships. So we obviously need to fine-tune a couple of things, tighten some things up.”

Then there was a story after the season, in the Athletic, with 30 sources, that illustrated the Jets’ culture could be better.

So now it’s about bringing their talent roster together and “fine-tuning” the culture.

You can’t win on talent alone.
