While the Jets’ Wildcat offense is still a work-in-progress, one positive element to that scheme has been all the timeouts it’s forced opponents to call, due to schematic confusion.
“That’s something, we talk about here, timeouts are gold, so if we can take some away from another team, that’s a good thing,” Tim Tebow said. “We try to, hopefully, keep them off balance with different looks and personnel groupings we put in the game. Maybe they weren’t expecting something or they want to have a certain look versus that package that’s out there.”
