According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, Aaron Glenn told Aaron Rodgers, that if he wanted to stay with the team, “You’re not going to do Pat McAfee interviews anymore.”
Glenn was right to make the demand that those appearances stop. They were a distraction.
Like Micah Parson’s podcast is a major distraction for the Dallas Cowboys.
These kinds of projects during the season are not good for football cultures. It’s not making the main thing the main thing.
But this begs the question, which many people have at this point, what was Rodgers’ response?
Now, it might be a moot point to some after Fox’s Jay Glazer announced on Sunday the Jets are moving on from the QB, however, I’d love to know what his response was to a demand from Glenn that certainly made perfect sense.
Hopefully, Russini, or one of the national insiders, can find this out.
I’m not going to lie – I’d love to know.
