The plea for noise isn’t a joke Dan Leberfeld

Jets coaches and players have asked the team’s fans to make a lot of noise when the New England Patriots are on offense this Sunday night.

Some might laugh this off as a funny sidebar.

But the Jets are very, very serious about this.

One player wasn’t messing around today when he told me how important it is for the fans to create a major homefield advantage for the Jets defense on Sunday.

He said a deafening stadium is a weapon the defense needs in their battle against Tom Brady, making it hard for him to communicate at the line, something he’s brilliant at doing.
