The Jets picked Michigan defensive lineman Will Campbell in the sixth round of the 2013 draft.
They immediately announced they were moving him to offensive guard.
Most viewed this as a major project that could take a few years to reach fruition, with a year or two on the practice squad a possibility.
But Campbell bucked the odds.
He made the regular roster, as a rookie guard, just four months after the position change.
