Jets QB Aaron Rodgers addressed the New York media the day after the regular season ended.
He said many things, but this particular quote needs to be the Jets’ mantra moving forward if they hope to end their 13-year playoff skid.
“Everything that we do has to have a purpose,” Rodgers said on January 8. “The bullsh*t that has nothing to do with winning has to get out of the building.”
In other words, if something doesn’t have anything to do with winning on Sunday, stop focusing on it.
Powerful words.
And words the Jets need to live by if they hope to turn it around.
