Here are some random thoughts on tonight’s Jets-Eagles exhibition game.
*Mo Wilkerson and Kenrick Ellis need to play a lot. They both have a lot of potential, but are both raw and need the reps.
*I really don’t know what the Jets are going to get out of Aaron Maybin facing backup offensive tackles.
*CB Ellis Lankster is a good player, and the Jets should play him a lot tonight. Other teams should keep their eyes open on this guy.
*Another player other teams should keep their eyes on is DE Jarron Gilbert. If the Jets release him, he won’t be on the street long.
*I still believe 95-99 percent of roster spots were decided by Tannenbaum before camp started, so if you think “battles” are going on tonight, you might be mistaken.
