The New York Jets have signed wide receiver Vic Hall. The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike “TOES” Tannenbaum.
TOES as in “Turn Over Every Stone.”
Hall (WR/5-9/185/Virginia/Gretna, VA) was originally signed as an undrafted free
agent by the Chicago Bears on April 30, 2010, before being waived on July 21,
2010. In his first three seasons at the University of Virginia, the Gretna
Senior High School product played cornerback before seeing time his senior
season at both corner and wide receiver. In 47 games over four seasons, he
amassed career numbers of 36 carries for 228 yards with three touchdowns and 24
receptions for 274 yards and one touchdown on offense, while posting 136
tackles, three interceptions and one sack on defense.
