The Jets have signed UFL cornerback Isaiah Trufant to their practice squad.
He was the 2010 Defensive MVP of UFL, playing for the Las Vegas Locomotives.
He’s a little undersized – 5-8, 170, but could eventually help them in the slot. He’s both quick and fast, and is an instinctive cover guy.
The Jets slot play has been a problem this year.
He is the brother of Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant.
