Rosemont – Jamaal Westerman’s stay in solitary confinement is almost over.
Westerman has been inactive most of this season, a victim of politics. He’s played in just five games. While he’s better than Vernon Gholston, that doesn’t matter. There is a PR element to this.
But since the Jets are going to rest some starters against Buffalo, he will finally get a chance to play.
Maybe he can help their struggling pass rush.
Who knows?
But at least on Sunday, we will see what he can do.
