Mike Westhoff, who works for a Jets’ media partner, ESPN Radio New York, said this week, ““Man, I’m not sure [Dee Milliner} is the best cornerback up here in Cortland. And I might include the university.”
If he was talking about the Jets’ corners, he’s on to something.
Watching practice in the spring and summer, Dimitri Patterson is clearly better than Milliner.
But to wonder if Milliner is better than SUNY-Cortland defensive backs like Andrew Tolosi, Ke’Shaun Stallworth, Dylan Everleth, Ben Krauz, Mark DelPrete, Kevin Illian, Frank Tucek, Quin Spencer and Layton Lassiter, is a bit unfair.
And I don’t care if he’s being sarcastic.
