Cortland – The New York Jets have signed rookie free agent LB Tim Knicky.
The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Knicky (LB/6-4/235/Stephen F. Austin/Cedar Park, TX) was originally signed as an
undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers on April 30, 2010, and was waived
on June 18, 2010. He started 28-of-33 career games at Stephen F. Austin. He was
named an AP third-team All-American in 2008 and finished fifth in the nation
with 12 sacks in 2009.
