Kerley raves about Jets running game weapons Dan Leberfeld
In the Jets’ win over the Cleveland Browns today, tailbacks Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell both had strong games for Gang Green.
Ivory ran 20 times for 109 yards, and Powell had seven carries for 54 yards. Powell also added four catches.
Jets WR Jeremy Kerley thinks Ivory and Powell compliment each other well.
“Those boys are beasts,” Kerley said. “(The) best one-two punch I know. Those boys are running the ball well. You’ve got a finesse back in Bilal. You’ve got a monster back in Chris. I like the style. I like to block for them. I just like to see them run.”
