Some unfortunate news came out of Giants camp today with the announcement that WR Dominic Hixon is out for the year with a torn ACL.
What does this have to do with the Jets?
Hixon blew out his knee on the field at the New Meadowlands Stadium at Giants practice on Tuesday.
The Jets practiced on that field on Wednesday, and I saw a several players slipping on the Field Turf.
The new field clearly needs some work.
