It should not be a surprise Dan Leberfeld

Florham Park – It’s a narrative you hear over and over.

It seems like whenever Chris Ivory breaks a long run, we keep hearing that his speed surprises people.

It really shouldn’t.

At the 2010 Combine, at 6-0, 222 pounds, he ran a 4.49 forty.

So why is everyone so surprised?

That is a better forty time than Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley.

It’s time to put this narrative to rest.

The guy has good speed.
