Jets signed veteran guard Stephen Peterman.
Stephen Peterman (G/6-4/323/Louisiana State/Waveland, MS) initially joined the NFL as a third-round selection by Dallas in the 2004 draft. Entering his ninth year, he played the last seven seasons with Detroit and has appeared in 90 career games with 86 starts. In 2012, Peterman started all 16 contests, protecting QB Matt Stafford, who finished second in the NFL with 4,967 passing yards.
