NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport tweeted today, “Based on people I’ve spoken to, it’s hard to imagine ex-Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum getting a job in football this year or for a while.”
Well first of all, he’s getting paid for the next two years, so he doesn’t have to be in a rush.
And while the last couple of years weren’t his best, it’s not like the guy never had success with the Jets.
Maybe he will never get another job, I don’t know. None of us have any idea.
So the writer spoke to a person or two in the league who feel that way, is that a death knell for Mike’s career?
I just don’t get the point of kicking the man after he just got fired.
Maybe that’s just me.
