Cortland – Former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum has been hired by the Miami Dolphins as a consultant.
He will work on a number projects involving innovation, analytics and sports science.
So how did this come about?
The answer is pretty simple.
Former Jets VP Matt Higgins, who worked closely with Tannenbaum for many years in New York, is now a key adviser to Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. Higgins has enormous power in that organization.
He helped make this happen.
