The Jets have been pretty tight-lipped under the leadership of GM John Idzik.
So for Daily News reporter Manish Mehta, to get a Jets source, to comment on Darrelle Revis, who is still property of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is pretty darn impressive.
Mehta tweeted, “Asked a Jets source how he would feel about a possible reunion with Darrelle Revis. Response: ‘Hell yes!'”
Considering the cloak of secrecy around Idzik’s Jets, for a reporter to get a quote like that, from a Jets source, qualifies as damn good reporting, to say the least.
