So what is up with Mark Sanchez’s throwing shoulder?
“His shoulder’s kind of sore.” Rex Ryan said. “For precaution, we had him go get an MRI. That was positive for us. He’ll play obviously Sunday. (The MRI) was precautionary. Anytime it’s your quarterback, you’re going to make sure he’s okay. He actually (got hurt) on the second drive of the game so he played the whole game with it. We know he’ll be ready to play on Sunday. Will it limit him? I don’t know.
“It was the first time he ran with the football. His arm was in an awkward position, (but) it never affected him. He played the whole game. I probably shouldn’t have said anything. Now that’s going to be our story. It’s just one of those things. As somebody said, ‘Maybe this should happen to you in all these games, because he played great.’ He really did.
“I don’t know what to call it. Sore shoulder? That’s the official term, sore shoulder.”
