Cortland – One of the surprises of Jets camp has been free agent wide receiver Vidal Hazelton.
In the Green-and-White Scrimmage, he caught a long touchdown pass.
Today in practice, he went down with a knee injury.
He was helped to the sidelines by trainers John Mellody and Josh Koch.
Perhaps it’s a good sign, that a short time later, he walked into the locker room, with no limp, or assistance from a trainer.
Vidal Hazelton suffered a serious knee injury at the University of Cincinnati in 2010, so another one could be the death knell of his career.
