The Jets could use a nickel back, and Al Harris is now a free agent, after being released by Green Bay earlier this week.
Perhaps this would be a good marriage.
However, Harris is coming off a knee injury, and is 35, so he would have to show the Jets he still has the requisite quickness and speed to handle the slot.
Drew Coleman and Kyle Wilson have both struggled at the nickel spot. The best candidate for the role, Marquice Cole, could be on the sidlines this Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury in Detroit.
