In the Jets’ win over the New England Patriots on Sunday, tailback Bilal Powell had a limited role, perhaps due to a shoulder injury.
Expect a bigger role for Powell on Sunday in Cincinnati.
“I’m good, I’m ready to go for this week,” Powell said. “We are looking forward to going to Cincinnati and playing them.”
Powell knows the Bengals have one of the best defensive lines in football, so running against them won’t be easy.
“(They have) a real tough defensive line,” Powell said.
A key match-up will be Jets left guard Brian Winters against Bengals Pro Bowl defensive tackle Geno Atkins.
