Pittsburgh – Cornerback Drew Coleman is one of the most unusual football players I’ve ever covered.
In Pittsburgh, he led the Jets with 10 tackles, had two sacks, two caused fumbles and had one tackle for a loss. He was also a force on kick coverage.
But he gave up a numberĀ of plays in pass coverage.
I don’t mean to be flippant with the following statement – Drew Coleman is a cornerback who excels on special teams, in run support, when blitzing, but is wildly inconsistentĀ in coverage.
That is a very bizarre description of a cornerback.
