It’s time for the TV Azteca story to be put to rest.
While some players were wrong, it was blown way out of proportion, and it’s time to be put a capstone on it.
This just in – the Jets are planning a seminar for players with the Association for Women in Sports Media.
If this does take place, Rex and Mike should ask for it to be in the off-season.
Nothing like that should go on now.
It would be a major distraction.
And the Jets have had enough of those. They certainly looked like a distracted team that lacked focus in the opener.
Appease that front group after the year. Not now.
The players got the message.
I’d be shocked if anything like that ever happens again in Florham Park.
