Jets left tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson and defensive end Vernon Gholston were in Braylon Edwards’ car when he was arrested for a DWI. The announcement was made by Manish Mehta.
“D’Brickashaw Ferguson AND Vernon Gholston were in the car with Braylon Edwards, according to source,” wrote Mehta on the Daily News website.
And this led to irresponsible speculation by Mike Florio of PFW – “It’s unknown whether and to what extent they were intoxicated. In many cases, when the driver of a car is at 0.16 percent blood alcohol concentration, the other folks in the car who aren’t driving are even more messed up.”
Talk about jumping to conclusions.
