Who is behind Zach decision?

Who is making this decision?

Talking about the decision to keep starting the struggling Zach Wilson at QB.

It’s a mystery right now who is behind this, but a former NFL GM thinks it might be coming from the top.

On the cable channel VSIN, co-host Mike Palm, from Circa Sportsbook, asked former NFL GM Mike Lombardi, who has great sources around the league, the following question:

“How do you place the blame on (Robert) Saleh?” He doesn’t make the decisions on who to draft. Joe Douglas is running the team. If the players should be mad at anybody, it’s Joe Douglas.”

“What they should be mad at was one of the most fundamental problems at the Raiders when Al Davis was running team,” said Lombardi, a former Oakland Raiders executive. “The owner wouldn’t let you get rid of a player who wasn’t any good because he believed the player still was going to be good. He didn’t want to have to take the bullet. How long did they keep (QB) JaMarcus Russell, when they knew it was over and this is what is going on. Who is making them keep Zach Wilson, it can’t be Nathaniel Hackett, who must be saying, ‘I can’t win with this guy.'”
