What does Dierdorf think of this matchup?
“The Jets realize how close they came to beating the Patriots playing with a rookie quarterback, who in the fourth quarter of that game looked like a rookie quarterback,” Dierdorf said. “So, I would think the confidence level amongst the Jets players is very high. They certainly think they can win this game.
“The question is can Geno Smith keep from turning the ball over? The Jets can’t beat the Patriots losing the turnover battle. It can’t be done.”
