People wonder what is wrong with the Jets passing offense the last couple of games.
It’s pretty obvious.
They were 3-1, and on a roll, and then Santonio Holmes was inserted into the mix.
He’s a heck of a player, but his addition threw a wrench into their passing attack.
All of a sudden, Dustin Keller’s production went way down and Braylon Edwards cooled off.
I’m not blaming Holmes. It’s not his fault, but when you are playing that well as an offense, and you add a player with #1 receiver skills, who needs the ball, that is a major shock to an offensive system.
It’s sounds cliche, but maybe you can have too many weapons.
