Jets non-stop search for a pass rusher – meet D.J Bryant

Jets haven’t had a dynamic pass rusher since John Abraham was traded to Atlanta in 2006.

So they are continually bringing in 3-4 OLB prospects with hopes of finding somebody who can cause havoc coming off the edge.

On Monday, they signed D.J. Bryant.

Here is his bio – Bryant (6-3/248/James Madison/Baltimore, MD) entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Houston (05/14/12) and played in four preseason games before he was waived (08/31/12). Bryant has spent time this season on the practice squads of both the Buccaneers and Colts. He most recently signed to the Colts practice squad (10/09/12) before being released (10/18/12). In four seasons at James Madison, Bryant recorded 118 tackles, including 27.5 for a loss, and 12.5 sacks.
