The Jets have signed linebacker Kenwin Cummings to the practice squad.
Cummings (LB/6-3/230/Wingate/Pembroke, NC) initially joined the club as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2008 and was inactive for the season opener before being signed to the Jets practice squad for the remainder of the season.
After spending the first nine weeks of the 2009 season on the practice squad, he was added to the 53-man roster on November 16, 2009, and earned his NFL debut on special teams in the Jets Wild Card Playoff game at Cincinnati. He saw action on special teams in three games this season before being waived on October 22.
