LaDainian Tomlinson isn’t buying the Jets talk about a QB competition.
“They said that last year,” Tomlinson told the New York Post. “They brought Tim Tebow in and it wasn’t much of a competition because [Tony] Sparano didn’t know what to do with Tim Tebow. I just think they’re in a situation where they have to stick with Sanchez.”
No they don’t.
They might be stuck with the contract ($8.25 million guaranteed this year), but they aren’t stuck with him in a certain role.
Sanchez, with 52 career starts, could make a good backup.
I don’t get the sense at all that they feel they are stuck with him as a starter.
There is no way John Idzik is thinking that way.
