A lot of people are down on Matt Slauson for his three penalty game against Miami.
And true, three penalties are inexcusable.
But consider a couple of things.
For one, the flag for holding that brought back Mark Sanchez’s touchdown run was a terrible call.
Secondly, the man he replaced, Alan Faneca, had major issues with the same player, DE Randy Starks, in both Jets-Dolphins games last year.
