New England linebacker Brandon Spikes, who had a key pick on Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez in the red zone on Monday night, has been suspended by the NFL.
Spikes, a rookie out of Florida, has been suspended without pay for four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing drugs.
Sanchez probably wishes this announcement was last week.
