The Jets passing game was a major disappointment last week.
But after a lot of work this week to fix what was wrong, Jets coach Rex Ryan feels a lot better about that aspect of his team entering Week Two.
“I was confident going in (to the game against Baltimore),” Ryan said. “I loved our running attack, our game plan, but just something seemed to be missing a little bit in the passing attack. I feel good about our passing attack this week. [Mark Sanchez] looks great. (He’s) throwing the ball super (with) a great command of the offense.”
The New England Patriots are starting two talented, but very young cornerbacks, and second-year safety, who didn’t start much last year. If the Jets can’t make a lot happen against this green group, there is truly something wrong with their passing game.
