Rex Ryan on Mark Sanchez’s performance Dan Leberfeld

Mark Sanchez won’t get a lot of style points for his performance in Miami, but did enough for his team to win.

“It just shows you that he’s just a competitor,” Rex Ryan said. “He fights his tail off. It looked bleak there for a while. We just kept fighting. We have that mentality that good things are heading our way and we just kept believing and kept fighting and I thought Mark did a tremendous job and it shows what kind of competitor he is. And obviously that hook up to (Santonio) Holmes … Santonio had a big day.”
